Safety & Compliance

Content & Acceptable Use Policy

This policy defines the safety boundaries, prohibited categories, reporting channels, and moderation workflows established to protect our users and platform.

1. Permitted and Intended Uses

Kinpict is designed to provide users with a secure and high-quality environment for family photo workflows. Permitted uses include uploading separate individual photos of family members to merge them into a single, cohesive group portrait, applying artistic styles, and restoring or enhancing family keepsakes.

You must ensure that you own the rights to all uploaded photos or have obtained explicit, documented consent from the subjects (or their legal guardians, in the case of minors) before processing them through our tool.

2. Prohibited Content Categories

To prevent the misuse of AI and protect all individuals, users are strictly prohibited from submitting, generating, or facilitating the creation of any content falling under the following six categories. These rules apply to all user prompts, input image uploads, and generated outputs:

  • Pornography / Adult / NSFW Content: Any content depicting nudity, pornographic material, sexually explicit acts, sexually suggestive behavior, or adult entertainment.
  • Violence, Blood, and Gore: Any content depicting physical violence, self-harm, gore, blood, physical mutilation, weapons, physical abuse, or animal cruelty.
  • Hate Speech and Harassment: Any content designed to threaten, harass, abuse, stalk, or incite hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or nationality.
  • Child Exploitation and Safety Violations: Any content depicting, promoting, or facilitating child abuse, exploitation, sexualization, or any depiction that endangers the safety, dignity, and well-being of minors. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for child abuse and exploitation.
  • Deepfakes and Impersonation: Any content designed to fake the identity of individuals, create deceptive images of real people (including public figures or non-consenting private individuals), or mislead others about identity, actions, or events.
  • Copyright, Trademark, and IP Infringement: Any content that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property, copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights of third parties. You may not upload protected artwork, logos, or brand graphics without authorization.

3. Content Moderation Mechanism

To ensure a safe environment, Kinpict implements a multi-tiered content moderation framework to proactively filter and detect violations:

Pre-Submission Prompt Filtering: The system automatically scans user text inputs for blocklisted keywords and semantic abuse patterns before processing.

Real-Time Automated Image Scanning: Both user-uploaded source photos and AI-generated output images are automatically screened using advanced computer vision safety classifiers (including NSFW and violence detection models) before they are rendered on screen.

Post-Generation Compliance Auditing: Our internal compliance team performs regular manual audits of randomly sampled generations to monitor system safety and train our safety filters.

Multi-Tiered Enforcement Actions: Differentiating between minor prompt errors (which trigger simple input blocks) and intentional malicious abuse (which trigger immediate account terminations).

4. Violation Enforcement and Disposal Mechanisms

If we detect or receive a report of a violation of this policy, Kinpict will take immediate enforcement action without prior warning. Actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Immediate Account Termination: Permanent suspension or deletion of the offending user account.
  • Forfeiture of Credit Balance: Any remaining credit balance (purchased packages or promotional credits) in the account will be immediately reset to zero and is strictly non-refundable.
  • Access Blocking: Permanent IP address and email domain blocking to prevent the violator from creating new accounts.
  • Legal Referrals: We reserve the right to report illegal activities, particularly those concerning child exploitation or severe harassment, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies, cooperating fully by providing necessary technical and account details.

5. User Abuse Reporting Channels

If you suspect or witness a violation of this policy, or believe someone has uploaded your photo or the photo of your family member without authorization, please report it immediately to our safety team.

How to Report: Send an email to safety@kinpict.com or abuse@kinpict.com with the subject 'Content Abuse Report'. Please include the target URL, a screenshot of the content, and any details that can help us identify the account.

Our compliance staff reviews every report within 24 hours and takes swift action to remove violating content and disable offending accounts.

6. AI Model Transparency Disclosure

Kinpict is committed to transparency regarding our underlying technical infrastructure. Our AI-based family photo editing and generation tools utilize the following industry-standard, commercially licensed model architectures running via secure endpoints on the fal.ai API network:

  • FLUX.1-schnell & FLUX.1-dev (developed by Black Forest Labs) for generating photorealistic background scenes, holiday rooms, and illustrative styling outputs.
  • SDXL (Stable Diffusion XL, developed by Stability AI) customized for high-fidelity face swapping, lighting harmonization, and edge blending between separate portraits.

When using Kinpict, you are required to comply with these rules. Violations will result in immediate account termination and loss of credits.
